I brought only large one from milkweed stems that had no leaves remaining. I searched and found a few stems with leaves and placed them an outdoor window sill. Hope they can make it to the butterfly stage. I saw some cats crawling up the wall and I thought theywere about to enter the next stage. They have disappeared and I am wondering if something ate them. Some rats have come to our bird feeders. I wonder if rats would climb wall and eat the cocoons.
