On January 4 I sighted one robin. On January 10 I spotted 2 robins. I've lived at this property for 20 years and have never seen robins this early in the season. We did have alot of water soaked in our backyard last week due to heavy rain. I have feeders out (safflower and black sunflower seeds) but robins seem to be pecking in the leaves on ground and at base of my maple tree (probably looking for insects)?
