our first overwintering Rufous that appeared yesterday 01/17/19 had a good day going all around checking out feeder and Amistad sage. It does look like last winters Rufous as it has all the same habits and perch preference in the Holly tree. I tried to post his appearance last night from my cell when he arrived at 5:40 p.m. right before dark. It wouldn't send.
He is a lot more oranger than last winter as I didn't get to see his breeding color before he left in March 2018.
