All of January, we have seen a large flock of robins around our yard - we have several American Holly trees with berries, and they are on the ground in our flower beds in front of the house, pushing leaves away and poking beaks into the soft soil, looking for worms. Usually, we don't see the robins until late Feb/ early March, but this winter they have been here in Dec ( I can't remember exactly when I first saw the flock), but certainly all of Jan. I am looking now at them in the holly trees and in the yard. It is 32 degrees and sunny.
