Noticed old/established Red Maples are springing forth with the beginning formation of their twirly helicopter double winged seed pods which will be fully developed later in March. Temperatures have been unseasonably warm in the mid 70s and forecasted to be about 80° tomorrow. The sap is rising but winter is far from over.
