Monarch Larva Sighted

Date: 02/07/2019

Number: 1

We moved the larva around on the milkweed plants we had .. they took to the new spots and ate well.
this morning they were all gone, I found one climbing on the top of a wire gate about ten feet away from where they were feeding. I gently moved it to an area that has maiden fern... I've seen pupa there so I thought that would be good. Now eight hours later it looks like the larva is preparing to make it's chrysalis, it's hanging upside down. It's 78 here cooling off tomorrow. I have photos I'll try to send .thank you!
