Heard two distinct calls around 7:30AM, most likely the same individual twice. After listening to all the calls, the two that I heard were the "true song".
I'd say they're just getting ready for the season-- I was outside most of the day, and only heard them those two times, but we've seen increased numbers of them every afternoon feeding on the crabapples.
Editor's note: We have moved this report to Robin (FIRST Seen) since the robin was "tuning up" as hormone level rise rather than proclaiming territory which is meant to drive off other robins and a prelude to nesting.
