Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/26/2019

Number: 10

Many all over, just not here but the whole county especially in the morning and the evening just before sunset. Some robins in morning are singing.

Just inland in the forest areas are wave of varied thrush, family members to the robins. Those birds are also all along the roadsides during the early morning and early evening just around sunset.

It has been a month of persistent rain, cold, some snow, sleet and hail yet these birds are out and active the last few weeks.

There are so many birds you just can really count them all between the house and town. They are probably stopped here because going north is cold and heavy snow. It is just above freezing so there is access to food here on the coast.
