This was not the FIRST robin. Weeks ago, a flock of maybe 5+ robins was were eating crabapples in a tree next door. I don't remember if it was December or January, but likely it was not February.

Today's robin was sitting alone on a roof apex.

We've had record cold in some areas around January 30, but it seems, despite the bitter cold, a few robins have overwintered.
