Date: 03/02/2019

Number: 1

so i have been wrong all along with my previous postings!
the bird that i thought was a female ruby throat over-wintering here turns out to be a female rufous. she has most likely been here since oct.
a bird bander, by the name of fred dietrich, was here this morning. he caught, identified and banded my little visitor this morning.

Editor's note: we have corrected all previous hummingbird reports to 'Rufous'
