I'm posting this for Kirsten S at Bruce Vento Elementary:

The students were all interested in the project and in working outdoors. I involved them in the problem solving (how will we know where to plant them, how deep (without a ruler), and how will we know where we planted them). They developed the solutions and worked well together. Afterwards, one of the students said, "That felt good!" Indeed, they all wanted to be outside.
