Our first remigrant mid coast TX 3/11/19

This afternoon, coming back from Houston on US59 about five miles NE of El Campo or 50 miles NNE of Port Lavaca, we had a monarch fly down the road at us and over us at only about two feet, heading NNE towards Houston.

3:15, 83 dF, mostly overcast, some sun, heavy fog this morning.

First two fields with corn up, one on US59 and one on US87 last week near Victoria.
