Robin (OTHER Observations)

Date: 03/15/2019

Number: 1

Just before sunrise this morning--6.39 am--after around 15 minutes of whinnies and cheeps as the neighborhood males took up their territories for the day, what sounded very close to true song broke out from just about all of them. My resident male didn't sing, but was starting to make sounds which may be song- like tomorrow.

This evening it was all back to whinnies and yips.

So--no true song yet, but they are beginning to move toward it in the dawn. Even now, at 8.36 pm, they are very active with a lot of communicating.
