Within the past week the temperature has been rising steadily. A week ago, we were wearing our winter gear. Now with the snow melting, we are dressing in lighter clothing. The deer in my area are feeding on the grass on the hillside, rather than scrounging for food. The birds are singing and are feeding on the seed and suet that I put out for them. The other day I saw grackles at the feeders; I hadn't seen them all winter.
