A bit late reporting this, but saw 6 in a crab apple tree near bike trail on 3/11. They were eating every dried up old apple available. Also to be honest, there was a group (5 or so) that hung around all winter near local bike trail and they seemed to have survived just fine on same said crab apples and other dried up items!
