Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 03/23/2019

Number: 1

Late yesterday evening I saw a male Ruby Throat at the feeder. He flew back to the Compact Hamelia (which does not have any blooms yet) and sat there for a while. He came to feed again before he left to roost for the night. I saw him again early this morning feeding at a smaller feeder with no perch that I added last night. This is a small 4 inch feeder with two yellow flowers but with no place to land; however, the Hummingbirds seem to prefer it over the other feeders.
