Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/25/2019

Number: 1

The monarch was seen March 25th. They are not very common in the spring. In the fall there is typically a week or two where monarchs are very common.

As to other butterflies seen this spring, what I have seen recently include:

Cloudless sulfur early Feb
spiicebush swallowtail 3/15/19 ±
Giant Swallowtail 3/20/19
Tiger Swallowtail 3/22/19
Monarch 3/25/19

I have not seen much milkweed yet. I will start looking.
