This a photo of the torn-wing female monarch I mentioned in my 03/23/2019 Monarch Adult Sighted report.

She is seen here nectaring on a wild blackberry blossom. She only did this a little bit, mostly she was seeking milkweed. I had seen her the day before nectaring on false garlic flowers in our front yard. She was easy to identify because of her dramatically torn wing. A beautiful and intrepid monarch!
