At Harmony Elementary School in Kindergarten we do a science lesson revolving around tulips. In the fall we have the students first guess what the bulb is. Most of them guess garlic. LOL then after explaining it is a tulip bulb we estimate when it will hatch. Once the tulips emerge, we record our date comparing the estimate and the actual. from then on we go out once a week and measure the growth. Once they bloom we count and graph the various colors. Very educational for our little ones.
