We saw the SPRING migration of the monarchs this time; we have only seen the fall migration before. We were fortunate to be at our cabin on a beautiful, calm afternoon (high 60s) and started seeing the monarchs arriving on top of our hill. They selected an oak tree next to the porch which was just putting out new growth, to rest for the night. Somehow, the new arrivals knew which tree the resting monarchs had chosen. We so excited to see this monarch miracle!!
