Sightings report image

Date: 03/28/2019

Number: 1

Overwintering Rufous left on 3/26/19. A long rainy, foggy winter to contend with due to Pacific cold fronts one after another. But on a good note nothing blooming froze to the ground like in past 2 winters here. Amistead friendship sage got up to 8 feet high. Rufous also enjoyed 4 blooming bluberrue plants before leaving, with berries now
developing all over the bushes.
Rufous never develops full breeding colors so I can determine if male or female as it was still scratching, molting.
I hope the Rufous makes it safely to breeding grounds with someone enjoying its stay as we did.
