My husband & I returned home after going 2 Dallas around 5pm. It w darker, cloudy but in 70's. Our pansies & daffodils(planted in containers) were dry.Asked husband 2 h20 them 4 me. He came inside house smiling & stated something about his 1st one. When asking him 2 clarify he stated when he w pulling hose around he saw his 1st hummingbird Sighting gor 2019. Was eating at Lipstick Sage plants in front. When he/she sae him flew 2 feeder hanging at Front Porch. We suspect a Black-chinned hummer since I heard familiar 'Wing-sound' in backyard about 5 days ago. Only other plant blooming is Major Wheeler but our neighborhood is a hummingbird haven. Will continue 2 watch. He did not have time 2 c sex or species of hummer. We get both Rubies & Blackchinned hummers.
