My hubby & I were wondering how the chrysilas was formed around the caterpillars,& got to witness this miracle of nature happening this a.m.! I was wondering why a couple caterpillars hadn't changed since last evening,taking a picture of another one, then looked back at first one, & saw it start happening! It happened in only 5 minutes time! We now have a total of 5 chrysilas hanging on side of our house, and 3 more caterpillars still feeding on the milkweeds.
