We live on a farm that overlooks a wooded pasture. There is a creek that runs through with farm fields on either side. I can see the red winged blackbirds playing in the spring puddles in the fields. I took out the telescope to watch them because I could hear them singing through the windows. Oh I just love when they show up in the spring! There must be hundreds of them out there.
