A few Robins have been visiting my yard off and on throughout winter, but just a few to eat the fruit I keep out all winter. I believe they’re living near by in cranberry bogs.
As of Monday there were 8 at once in my yard. Mostly males. This time there here to stay for a while. They’re still enjoying the fruit on cold mornings. When the afternoon warms up. They’re going for worms.
They are sparring with each other a lot. One accideny came into my 3 season room door while sparring with another male and it took 5 hours of keeping everyone (dogs/kids) away and opening all the screens for him to get out. Please remember to put decals or something on your windows so birds don’t fly in to them during sparring and mating especially.
