We were coming home around suppertime (5:30pm) and had just turned south off hiway10 when the Snow Geese came from the ssw by the thousands. Geese as far as you could see. We sat there and watched until they had all gone past, heading in a nne direction. Looking for open water and a place to feed. We could see their shadows on the gravel road in front of us as we sat there and watched and listened. The whole thing was something that you never get tired of seeing each year!
