Drove from Sparta, Wisconsin to La Crosse, along Hwy 16. Many waterfilled ditches, marshy areas from recent flooding. Observed many red winged blackbirds; some in flocks. Warm, Southerly breezes. I had to roll down the window to listen. My reported location is near my home; returned home to find 2 red winged blackbirds in local ditches.
