Signs of Spring

Date: 04/06/2019

Number: 1

Sunny, 55 degrees, 10:40 AM, my Eastern Phoebes appeared in the Dogwood tree and are investigating their nest (they constructed it last year). They placed their nest above the light fixture next to our front door; which makes our porch a little messy when their young arrive :) lol.

Their site is secure, sheltered from wind, rain, sun, and critters that might harm them. There's easy bug catching within 10 feet of their nest, and a "Phoebe pole" to perch on :) in addition to the Dogwood tree.

I'll put a sign outside for our UPS and Fed Ex drivers, requesting they please don't disturb Mr and Mrs Phoebe.

Welcome home, Little Flycatchers, we're thrilled you are here.

Bluebird's and a wren are singing, I'm cleaning Blue Bird houses today.
