Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 04/06/2019

Number: 9

I saw my second Monarch on March 28. I had just planted tropical milkweed because my native hadn't broken ground. Before I came in for the evening, I found all these eggs on the plant! So much more than usual. With our recent cold spells, I had given up on the eggs to hatch. Then last night the eggs darkened, and this morning I have caterpillars! 8 days after I found the eggs!
