Every seven days, we place fresh sugar tap water in a 1:4 ratio in a feeder located under the roof of our back porch. We live adjacent to Chisholm Creek, where many assorted songbirds and Wild Turkey's frequent our backyard this time of year. We have counted about thirty bird species in our back yard each year.

The Hummingbird's enjoy perennial Lantana and Red Salvia in our front yard, which blooms from about June to November. Currently, the Hummingbird's only have our feeder and Redbud Tree blossoms for food.
