Sightings report image

Date: 04/05/2019

Number: 1

While placing an egg on Asclepius asperula. On an established plant growing rapidly from root which is what A asperula do. This plant was not apparent on March 31. Leaves are not yet fully formed. And of course this was also first egg sighted. After she departed, I Found two eggs on the plant, each on a budding inflorescence. I thought I might see more given the amount of time she spent working at it. It's risky to try to untangle early A.asperula leaves and branches to search for eggs. But eggs are usually on an outside surface anyway.

The first two photos in the composite are before and after the egg was placed. (taken 11 seconds apart.)
