Monarch landed on 5 different milkweed plants in front of my window. Laid eggs off and on throughout the afternoon for two to three hours. The wind was up and I noticed that it was difficult for the parent to stay on the plants for very long. In addition, I noticed that the adult flew back and forth along our street as if looking for better examples of milkweed as mine are extremely pathetic.
