Last Saturday we drove up past Fort Sisseton, and on to a slough just west of Eden. There were Franklin's Gulls feeding on winter killed fish at one end. This young Bald Eagle was sitting in a tree next to the road further east.
Looks to be a nearly five year old since it is just getting its white coloring on its head.
