Right at high noon today, I saw a hummingbird fly to my window feeder. From the angle, I couldn't tell if it was a male or female. However, the males arrive first, so that's more likely.

Today at 6 p.m., a male ruby-throated hummingbird came to the window feeder and settled in for a long drink. He was quite plump, so perhaps he has been getting regular nourishment from other hummingbird fans along the way. I'm so glad they're back!
