It was a male and a female. We've had nests here before, although it's a bit early, but they seemed to be a "couple." I didn't see nesting behavior so I assumed it. I hope that's okay. They were in a brown patch of short lawn. He pulled out a worm and ate it. He pulled another and, with it hanging in his mouth, joined up with her and they flew off down the road.
