Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 04/11/2019

Number: 1

A co-worker of mine let me know that she spotted a monarch flying. Not sure how long it will survive since right now its only about 53 degrees. I haven't seen any milkweed either. Definitely going to keep my eye out

So I talked to her and she’s saying she’s thinking it’s a monarch but now isn’t 100% sure. I haven’t seen milkweed yet. Today’s temp is only 47 so I’m not sure it is gonna survive. Plus we had some pretty heavy rain and winds last night and windy today. Definitely keeping my eye out. I work with adults with disabilities, and we are eagerly waiting for them to arrive. This will be the first time we do it at my work. I started last year and absolutely love raising them, and releasing them. Hopefully we will get a good amount this year. I will definitely report when I see one.
