Monarch Waystation #271 reports finding the first Purple Milkweed sprouts emerging from the front yard today! As the sun finally shone on the north side of the house in the past few weeks the bed came alive with daffodils and violets. That was my signal to look for mw sprouts. The tallest stalk in this photo is just over 1 inch tall.
