My husband saw a monarch at our house. It’s been unseasonably warm here this week.
My husband saw the monarch behind our house. He didn’t tell me until the next day when I discovered eggs on our milkweed. I’m attaching a few photos of the eggs too. I posted one of these on the first sighting of monarch eggs map.
I’m surprised they are here this early. It has been very warm this week but we are expecting a cold night of 37 degrees Monday. Should I be worried about the eggs (or caterpillars if they’ve hatched?)
