Saw our first ruby-throated hummingbird at 8:15 am, male got a long drink at the feeder on our porch. ----- Again at 12:55 pm another one came for a long drink. ------ A couple more times later in the afternoon, a hummer came for a short drink. -- We are 49 miles north of Paducah.
