This mother calf pair stopped for a while right in front of us just about 75 yards off shore. The calf surfaced several times lifting its head above the water showing us the sweetest face. Mom patiently waited beside the calf and all too soon, they continued their northward journey.
What a privilege it was to observe this pair.
