Around 12:30 p.m. we spotted a Monarch butterfly fluttering through our front yard. I wasn't fast enough to get a photo but by the behavior, I would say it was a female. She was going from plant to plant like she was searching for milkweed. No eggs found on my swamp milkweed located behind the house.
