Almost stepped on it hidden in the lawn at dusk, the reason I call our place golden acre, a dandelion flower!
Have been observing a female Mallard for the past week. Today I got a bit too close to the naturalised brush habitat in the back quarter of our acre and she flew off. So I used the opportunity to count six eggs. She is most likely not done yet according to my research. My son is so excited as am I.
