The butterfly looked in very good condition, wings not at all ragged. It checked out plants repeatedly before I actually saw her deposit an egg, but she
must have been in the garden for quite awhile before i saw her because when I checked the milkweed, there were eggs on every plant I checked. Most of the plants are only 3-4 inches tall!
