I have two nesting pairs in my yard: one on garage porch and one in a lantern on my back porch. About 3 weeks ago, pair on back porch began nest building. Within a week, one egg appeared. A few days later, there were four eggs. I worried cold weather may have damaged eggs, but yesterday, there were four little babies! I thought one died by evening, but today, realized one was simply snuggled beneath sibs. I think they have already doubled in size.
I know photo of babies isn't the best, but was trying to get it quickly without disturbing nest while mama was off nest.
