Ice-Out

Date: 04/17/2019

Number: 1

This report from the Reporter Herald in Loveland, Colorado:
"Patches of snow still linger on the banks and the temperature at 7 a.m. is a chilly 28 degrees, but the ice is finally off North Delaney Buttes Lake, midges are hatching and big fish are cruising the shallows."
"Ice-out on the Delaney Lakes, like spring itself, is an annual, but predictably unpredictable event that can drive local anglers mad with expectation. You know it's coming; you never know when."
