Purchased 5 milkweed plants at nursery. Donated one plant to Bluebonnet Place Assisted Living Community in College Station Tx. They were so excited to get it. (Got permission to list their name).
Hoping Asclepias Curassavica would work in containers on my patio.
Beginning photography classes and wanted to carry the plants inside to my studio (spare bedroom). Found my first caterpillar this morning. Used black velvet as background.
In a perfect world I would have bought local milkweed, this was all I could get. In the fall, the plants are being cut back.
