Only saw one for 2 days and then nothing for a few days after that. I'm assuming he's a scout and went back to the wagon train to let all the travellers know that the feeders are full. :)
This has been the pattern that I've observed for several years: a scout, a gap in sightings and then the floodgates are open and stay that way until it's time to call retreat!
