Sighting was at 6:30 pm. A single monarch was looking for a perch high in a grove of white pines. Finally, it settled resting on a pine cone. Temperature was about 62 degrees F.

I have multiple photographs of the monarch we sighted and multiple witnesses to the sighting and identification. I use a Canon 70D with a 400 mm zoom lens.
