Female depositing eggs on newly sprouted milkweed plants, only 6 or 8 inches high. First time seeung a monarch in spring, very surprised to witness egg depositing on small emwrging milkweed plants.Usually I only see monarchs, eggs, larvae Aug to Oct,, probably migrating.
