Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 04/27/2019

Number: 1

First hummer of the season. The little girl appeared exhausted, she sat on the feeder's perch for maybe 10 minutes maybe gaining strength, it was very windy and little out there for her to eat yet. She sat, just wobbling and with feathers fluffed to keep warm. She finally drank several long sips and flew off to a nearby conifer to rest.

Obvious it was a very taxing day for her, glad I had the feeder out.
